THE MAC TURNS 20
Introduced by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the Apple Macintosh debuted 24 January 1984. It sported a GUI interface and something called a "mouse". Taking industrial design to new aesthetic heights, the Mac is as beautiful as it is easy to use, all the while making a case for having a superior operating system. Despite this, Mac has never really been able to grab market share, largely due to the high degree of propriety and it's premium pricing compared to PC. Today, Macs account for about 5% of all computers sold.
