Meanwhile, SLASHDOT reports that iTunes for Windows is breaking first generation iPods (5GB hard drives). The stink of it is, according to discussions on Apple's own boards, Apple refuses to support older iPods used on a PC, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR SOFTWARE THAT BROKE THEM.

Meanwhile, an idependent software maker has created a new utility which uses iTunes to download and share MP3s. Called "MYTUNES," it enables users to bypass the stream-sharing capability of iTunes playlists and actually file-share. But LeoVille is of the opine that this is another hack of iTunes copy protection, and, is thus, PIRACY.
