Paypal screensaver is actually a a new variant of the MiMail.I worm, and tries to steal your credit card info.

The Hollywood Reporter has the story that the MPAA will not allow film critics "screeners" this year in an effort to stave off video piracy.

Although it's believed that over 75% of all video piracy is an "inside job," no word yet if film executives will be denied screeners as well.

An Apple employee who was developing his own application to manage NetFlix lists has had his source code CLAIMED by Apple and told to stop distributing it. So he has. But what gives APPLE the right to claim ownership of his hard work? Certainly not the law.
